Birth of Jesus Christ

Jesus is called Jesus of Nazareth. Christians consider him to be the Son of God and the Messiah. He is the central character of Christianity . He was baptized by John the Baptist.

Although many deny its historical existence, modern historians do not deny its existence. You can see the image of Jesus Christ as a featured image .

Topics discussed-

Was Jesus Christ really a Jewish missionary?

Yes, he was a Jew by race. Born in Bethlehem. He is called Jesus of Nazareth of Galilee (according to the Gospels of Matthew and Luke). He used to spread the message orally among the people. He was a popular Jewish rabbi.

He debated with other rabbis about the concept of God in Judaism and how to follow God, imparting knowledge to devotees through various metaphors.

According to Christianity, the Old Testament hints at the coming of God as the Son of God. Jesus was the Son of God and God, He was also the Messiah.

Miraculous Birth: Christians and Muslims believe that he was miraculously born without a father. In the Bible he is called Begotten Son of God. The Qur'an does not recognize him as the Son of God, but the miracle of being born without a father is acknowledged.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem or, Beit Laham. Jesus means savior.

What does the word Christ mean?

The word Christ is derived from Latin and Greek words. It comes from the concept of the Messiah, or Messiah, in Judaism. Jews, Christians and Muslims have three concepts of Christ or Messiah.

Jewish concept: The Messiah or Messiah will be a Jewish king like David who will deliver the Jews and mankind.

The Jews were kings literally as the kings of the Jews were, Jesus was not.

Christian idea: Jesus was the savior of mankind, he is the king of the Jews and the king of the whole earth (he is also the king of heaven) - he is God. He freed the entire nation.

He is the Messiah, the Christ, the Savior, the Messiah, the Messiah. Most Christians believe that Jesus died for the sins of the world. He freed mankind from original sin.

Muslim Concept: Jesus was the Messiah of the Jews, the Messiah, the prophet of the Jews, he called the Jewish nation to the path of truth. He was miraculously born and performed many miracles. He wanted to show the path of truth to his nation as a sign of the continuity of prophets coming to earth.

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ

In Muslims, resurrection refers to the rise of a person to the afterlife, but in Christianity , resurrection refers to the return of Jesus three days after his death. For the last time the Twelve had a meal with the disciples known as the Last Supper.

He was tried by the Jewish authorities for claiming to be the Messiah and King of the Jews, and the Roman government ordered his crucifixion. Many followers, including Mary Magdalene, claimed to have seen him return three days after his death.

And later he ascended to heaven, his followers believe he will return again. According to Muslims, Jesus did not die, he ascended to heaven alive and will return again.

miracles

According to the Bible he is—

  • He miraculously provided food and drink to the hungry
  • He healed those suffering from incurable diseases
  • Controlled adverse weather conditions
  • defeated death

Jesus' last words were (according to the Bible)-

“ Father , forgive them, they know what they have done” “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in heaven (said by one of the two thieves who were being crucified next to him) “ Father , into your hands I commend my spirit. doing" (last words)

The Word of Jesus Christ

Jesus is a figure revered by Muslims and Christians as a messenger of peace in the history of mankind. His words are loved by Muslims as well as by Christians , but not all take the same meaning. Check out some of his sayings-

"Lend without thinking of getting it back, and you will receive a great reward in return"

"Judge not others and you will not be judged"

"Give and you will receive in return and as you give you will receive back"

"You can see the corner of your brother's eye but you don't see the corner of your own eye"

“If someone slaps you on one cheek, give him the other cheek. Give your clothes to whoever takes your cloak. "

"If you love only those who love you, where are your accomplishments? So do sinners.”

Is it possible for God to take birth as a human being?

The followers of Christianity believe that God can do everything - He can be born as a human being and can redeem people from original sin by dying on the cross .

Muslims believe that the attribute of the creator is that he is not a created thing, person or anything - no human attribute can be attributed to the creator. Therefore, Jesus would not have been born as a man if he was the creator. Adam's birth is more miraculous than Jesus , they had neither father nor mother.

Jesus Christ plays an important role in Abrahamic religions. Although Jews consider him nothing more than an ordinary Jewish rabbi, Christians and followers of Islam fully believe in his miraculous birth and behavior .
